Default Texas League Cards

Just bought a few of my first pre-war cards. Bought 5 of the 6 Texas League T206. Pretty excited about this. I have been reading and enjoying the history of the Texas League. Does anyone have any suggestions for other pre-war card sets with Texas League players? Any ideas on how to go about finding them? This link made it easy for the T206s...

https://t206resource.com/League%20Te...Checklist.html

Thanks for any help!

I think you might enjoy collecting the T210-3 set-- it even has some different border color variations. Good luck!

Another vote for the amazing T210s. The red borders make them the most beautiful pre war set to me.

I Love the look of these cards also. Especially the Joe Jackson (which is a Dream Card) and the Casey Stengel

Here is the T210-3 (Series 3) checklist of 95 Texas League cards that was 'lifted' from the cardboardconnection.com site. It might be helpful for you in that it sorts the players by team.

I edited the list to add first names when available, and edit misspellings on the original list posted (this info was obtained from tcdb.com website). The Trading Card Data Base site (tcdb.com) also has photos of each of the Series 3 cards, so it is worth checking out as well.

While I'm a postwar collector, I have always loved those T210s, especially Series 3. They are somewhat intimidating to me in that they're not easy to come by. Ebay BINs are a joke when it comes to these cards.

I noticed that this afternoon when I was looking on eBay. Couldn’t believe the Deans were the cheapest. I’m gonna have to find these cards somewhere besides eBay and Deans.

I made the Series 3 Texas League list on post #8 extra fancy, and corrected misspellings and added first names, all from info gleaned from the tcdb.com site. That site also has photos of each of the 95 Series 3 cards, so is well worth checking it out.

Good luck on getting some well placed Texas Leaguer hits!

Brian
