this card is not as rare as once thought...
i have seen MANY for sale in the last year alone and non have gone above $3000....

My guess would be there were 1 or 2 high end sales that set the top of the market. Once more started to change hands the price greatly dropped and hence there was an adjustment in the guide price.
I took don't think this card is as rare as people think and I also don't think many people care about it. I have passed on many examples as it isn't something I think of as being impossible to get at a later date. James G
