Babe Ruth W512 - How many things wrong with this auction?
This is auction shows one reason why PSA should find something better than ?AUT when not slabbing fake cards. I guarantee people take advantage of their wording to scam people such as the idiot seller saying "PSA COULD NOT DETERMINE THE AUTHENTICITY." In addition to that the top bidder (maybe the seller or a friend) has 26 retractions out of 30 bids. That is a pretty good average. I am sure he is on the up and up though.

I agree, I see it quite often.
Similar when someone posts in their listing "I am not a professional grader, so I am listing this as unknown". PSA should give more direct determination and make the call on counterfeit or not. Not leave it in the air with ?Authentic. |

No overt deception here, just what's probably a $150,000 card going for $300. Guy is encouraging others to send it in for grading but, hell, why would he bother doing that in advance.
