Default A Dodger Figurine with an Old Uniform

I came across this Dodger Doll / figurine and could use some help identifying what it is. I seem to find odd sports memorabilla at estate sales somewhat regularly . My knowledge is mostly about pre 1920 baseball. There is Still stuff out there. This doll/figurine may not be a match to this old jersey. The guy that sold it to me thought it was from 1958 LA Dodgers and sold at the stadium. He may have been guessing. The jersey looks old. It was found here in Los Angeles. Any identification or value ideas would be much appreciated.

Never seen it before, but judging by the fit that uniform doesn’t belong on that doll.

Looks like someone put a Johnny Hero Uniform on a generic non-matching Doll. It took me 2 minutes to google this, as it's not my area of expertise. But the Uniform appears to match a Johnny Hero Uniform, while the doll does not. See links....

Try the Memorabilia side if you need more info. Someone over there is likely to have a more definitive answer.

Hope this is helpful.

Those are awesome. How have I been collecting for 35+ years and never seen a Johnny Hero Doll? Something new to add to my collection.

Default Jackie Robinson Doll

Years ago I did have a Legit Jackie Robinson doll I purchased from a out in the sticks little auction-- a pretty cool item. There is what appears a nice Robinson with its original box on eBay--I would think a pretty RARE example--

There's actually a Facebook Page solely devoted to these. If you scroll down, there are some great pics of both the Baseball and Football Dolls. They did a nice job with the Unis.

Looking at eBay, it seems tough to find one with a complete uniform. Lots of components are typically missing. Here's a nice Reds Doll, but with missing sleeves and a Cleveland Hat....

Same Uni as in the OP....

The OP's Uniform is a partial Johnny Hero
The Doll is anyone's guess.

Thanks for the links. I am in no hurry but sometime I would like to get a Yankees and Red Sox set to put on a couple Wade Boggs SGA dolls I have.
