Default (Sold) 1951 Bowman Mantle PSA 2 (high end certified by me)

A few folks PMd about this and the other member looking for one found a nice card for his collection which wasn't this one. There is a vertical wrinkle on the right side of Mick, not going through to the back.

This one- $6500 OBO (Sold) ...will send off to auction eventually if I don't get my number but would rather sell here. I just looked at completed sales on ebay. Can't find a better looking card for less, at least that I could see. But I am biased. Would you rather have a crappier looking but higher grade card for your collection for the same money?

I think the grading companies do a pretty good job for the most part but occasionally you see a grade that really makes you scratch your head... this is one of them. Awesome card!

Default Need to start a new thread...

You need to start a new thread asking for pictures of the most under-graded cards you've ever seen. This might be a great candidate.

If nothing else this should have got the half grade bump reserved for cards with exceptional eye appeal for the grade. Had I submitted raw I would have been expecting a 3.5. Nice card either way.
