Does it include it on disk? I remember seeing somewhere that they do that now and if not how do you get one of those?

Bobby - it does come with the DVD.

Interestingly, there is a photo of a Sport Kings Cy Young on the cover of the book.

Got mine... and wow! One fine job by the Krause guys on this one.
It just gets better and better. And putting a cd in there, what a
brilliant move. Seriously, this one book has more info of interest
to us that any other book. I'm still partial to Mr. Lipset's works,
but this Standard Catalog has been weeding out its problems the last
few years, while fine tuning details.

Thank you guys at KP for assembling this! Everyone needs one!!

Can you get the 1200 pages of shiny stuff pre-ripped out, or do I need to do that myself again.

Thanks for mentioning this, Matt. I'm still using the 2006 edition with the index that doesn't align with the rest of the book. It's about time for a change!

Got mine today. However, when trying to put it on my iPhone it's not recognized as a pdf. It opens as a pdf, but doesn't show up using AnnotaterService. AnnotaterService is what I use to put it on my iPhone. Got some more hacking to do...

Figured it out. (No thanks to Annotator). You not only have unlock the pdf, but you have to split the pdf into 2 equal pieces since Annotator won't handle files over 100mbs in size. I now have the 2009 pdf in 2 pieces on my iPhone!

I'm just beating myself up looking at warts I (and readers) have found and am already collecting to correct for the 2010 edition -- good to stop for a second and read this thread.

Commenters here who note it is a constant work in progress are indeed correct.

IPhone people...you crack me up. PDF power to the people! Have fun.
