Default T206 Dahlen SC 350 find?

Being very new to the T206 series, I enjoy researching the rare and hard to find cards and combinations.

I came across a card that was being sold with what appeared to be a new back combo, its graded VG 3 but the back is quite suspicious.

Thoughts?

Looks like the 3 in 350 may have been handwritten.

A 150 with a handwritten 3 over where the 1 was.

I'd be very interested to see what's on the front of the flip...

Default Dahlen

For those of you who know me, this is a card I have for sale. After I was asked about the back and looked at it close, I decided to take the listing off . I am looking forward to hearing what Ted and John and others think. I am going to hold onto the card because it looks like PSA should of put a qualifier on this one at the least. When I relist the card both pics will be shown and everyone can use their best judgement. I am in this for the long hall and will always give full disclosure.

Thanks
Adam

Without having to find the ended auction listing, would someone
care to share the actual assigned grade, please? PSA 1?

Default dahlen grade

The assigned grade is a VG 3 with NO qualifier. When I relist you'll understand why the series was in doubt. The front is a nice one though. Its a shame the back is not worthy

How could it possibly be a 3 with all of that paper loss? Mystery

Please show us the front of this Dahlen card.

The Brooklyn version of Dahlen exists with a SWEET CAPORAL 350 Factory 30 back.

The Boston Nat'l version of Dahlen is one of the "Elite Eight" subjects in the T206 set which are found with
the usual complement of 150 series backs....and, exists only with the following 350 series backs......

PIEDMONT 350
EPDG.

It certainly looks as if a "3" was written over what normally is a "1" (in 150).

Gradedcardman was totally upfront and pulled it once he knew it was suspicious.

I am curious as to why you do not provide back scans for any of your auctions, obviously you give them if asked why not provide them in the auction?

With such an emphasis on backs in T206s I would think it would almost be a must no matter what the back is.

I have always felt you are short changing yourself by not providing them, not all people are willing to ask for the back scan on scans they might be interested in.

I just realized that I won a pair of White Sox T206's that were listed in the same group that included the Dahlen. Hopefully PSA got the grades on those cards right...
