Default Lew Burdette's Collection in SGC

to my beloved community,

I have been picking up some Lew Brudette cards as I learned that he became Deaf when he get older so I thought it would be cool to add some of his cards into my Deaf Sports Collection.

I just noticed that there's some SGC stated "Lew Burdette's Collection. It made me very curious on what kind of collection did he had. Is there a list of SGC cards that labeled as "Lew Burdette's Collection"?

Here's an example that I found on eBay.

So curious to see what you guys know about this.

Best,
Danny

Default Burdette

I don't know anything about his collection, but I hope someone can shed some light on this. I remember watching him pitch and I loved the Milwaukee Braves.

Danny, I bought the Burdette Archives set from Mears a few years ago & chose 100 cards to be slabbed & pedigreed
by SGC. So I could keep a few as I collect player pedigreed cards.
I didn't have the entire set slabbed.

I sold many in the day incl the Mantle that's on eBay from a diff seller as well as Satchell Paige, Jackie Robinson & so on

Rec'd your Email & I thank you for your order.
Here's the Jackie Robinson & Mear's certificate so all can see how it looks

From the Burdette/Wolt collection ....

I liked this one mainly due to the fact it was not in the 53 Topps Set. The Snider was also pretty cool from what I remember.

That is very cool they did that for the flips. One of my other faves is (I think this is what it says) "Collector's Collection".....

Leon over the years I have won many lots from Mears, Hunts & others that were player owned.
And usually when the player passes, the family liquidates the players memorabilia.
W/ proof of the auction lot & COA, SGC has slabbed & pedigreed about a dozen players card collections for me.
I keep some for my collection & market the others to pay for the lots & slabbing.

Here are some that SGC has done for me...

Saw him pitch the second game of the 1957 World Series at Yankee Stadium when I was a boy. A great baseball memory.
