Bill, sorry I will miss you - I will not be at the national this year. You always have one of the best selection of T206s and are very reasonable. Good luck, and I will likely see you in Philly in the Fall. And no, this was not a paid advertisement -- just giving a shout to a solid dealer and good guy.

As the son of an English teacher I feel pretty ashamed that I didn’t even catch what Brendan’s comment meant until there were others posts. My bad.

Booth 1114 -- eight booths in the door. This year focusing mostly on unopened wax, 1948 to 1970, all sports and non sports. Mostly raw, as my opinion of graded packs is broadly known. Have sold about 25 rare packs since last year's National and many more have arrived since. Check out my inventory on the buy sell sections.

NOTE that I will have a 15% to 25% sale on most items, so check me out before I sell what you are looking for. My last two rare OPeeChee hockey wax packs from the 1960s sold with one telephone call. My 1953 Bowman Color baseball that I had at last year's show sold this year. BUT I do have second one now -- check out my inventory.

I will be bringing a large selection of Tobacco cards, Zeenuts and cards from the 1930s through the 1970s -- all sports and non sports.

Wrappers and display boxes as well. Many rare Topps proof wrappers including test issues; have 1968 All Star Baseball Plaks and many other rare proofs direct from Topps.

Gary Nuchereno and I will once again be set up with Scott Brockelman and Richard Masson in Booths 713/715. Scott will be accepting consignments for his auction. We will have a substantial assortment of pre-war singles, graded and raw, as well as binders of sports and non-sports cards from the forties through 1979. Rumor has it that there will be guest appearances by Jay Miller and Kevin Struss, as well. Please stop by and say hello.

I consigned a bunch of pre-war cards, primarily HOFers, to Roger Neufeldt of Sports Memories. He will have quite a few displayed in their own display cases as I understand it. Buy up!!!

Steve Sabow, dynamictwo@aol.com, Booth 1114

UPDATE

Since I always get comments that I have more under the table than above (in particular from Marty Krim), I have developed six lists of some of the items I have for sale before or at the show.

If you are not going to the show or you are, and want a copy of any of my lists e-mailed to you, select which ones and I will forward you a copy of that list: (all lists -- except for one -- have sports and non-sports items per the list title)

1 - Wrapper List 7-15-19

2 - Unopened Packs List 7-20-19

3 - Empty Display Boxes List 7-16-19

4 - Miscellaneous Card Types Selection Available List -- 7-20-19
(Most card types that I have a quantity for sale are listed -- just not the numbers of the cards for sale -- we can discuss via e-mail or by phone or at the show -- so for example I may have 40 T210s in varying conditions while I have over 200 P2 pins and over 100 1956 Topps pins and over 300 1963 Topps Peel off inserts and over 1,000 Zeenuts, and so forth;

5 - Miscellaneous Items -- 7-17-19
(Here is where I put unusual items, uncut panels, novel boxes, royal boxes, etc.)

6 -- Yearbooks, Programs, World Series Programs and Autographed Yearbooks -- 7-17-19
(No non sports on this one).

Let me know if you have questions before or at the show or you want a copy of any of the six lists.

Tim Newcomb, Chris Bland and I have booth #411. We'll have mostly vintage tobacco.

I'll have some lower grade T206 Cobbs, Demmit St. Louis, HOFers, SLers, T204s (Tinker & Pelty), T210s (lots of series 1 & 8), T211s, a number of vintage PCs both player (Stengel) and team (some RPPC), and a near set of higher grade T6 Murad.

Stop by our booth and chat, or rest your weary feet. The LUTFA guys always enjoy lively baseball card conversation!

Cheers,
Mike

Default more 411 about 411

As long as it's LIVELY baseball card conversation....

To add to Mike's post, I will be breaking near sets of 1934 Goudey, E95, and 1954 Red Heart. Will also have a large number of T222s and V100s. Also rare backs of M101-4/5 and examples from dozens of other sets, all priced fairly.

Finally, I will have a gorgeous selection of single-player postcards, many of them rare, priced more exorbitantly

Default Booth #'s 704 & 706

I will be setup in booth #'s 704 and 706 with cards from 19th century though late 1960's. Five or more showcases of prewar. Stop by if you are working on E90-1 set.

There will be expensive cards, cheap cards, raw & graded.

I had a similar conversation with a banker many years ago, back in the day when baseball cards were paid for by checks through the mail. I was endorsing some checks in front of him, and he complained it was just a scribble.

I explained that's what my signature looks like. He asked me if I could write my name more legibly, and I said, "Sure, but do you want my signature to be nice, neat, readable, and unlike any signature I have ever produced thus far in my life, or do you want me to continue to sign my normal, illegible way, which will match the signature cards that are on file here in your bank?"

I'll be in booth 1070 with a large grouping of off-grade 1933 and 1934 Goudeys and 1939 Play Ball. I will also have a large selection of post-War commons. I'm local and can answer any questions you may have about Chicago/Rosemont. www.fatdaddyssports.com

Stop by our booth and chat, or rest your weary feet. The LUTFA guys always enjoy lively baseball card conversation!

Cheers,
Mike
Sounds like my kind of table Mike. See you at the National!

Default Booth 669 - Ruths/Gehrigs/Cobbs/Youngs/Mathewsons etc. - behind Topps booth

In a bad spot on the exhibition floor, but have two display cases with cards that should appeal to a lot of collectors.

Great display James. I am sure us non-attendees would love to see pics of others' display booths
