Default E97 Sullivan Variation Confirmed

Posted By: petecld

I have been recently emailed a scan of a COLOR E97 Sullivan with the Boston team!

The standard E97 of Sullivan in color shows him with Chicago. The B/W E97 Sullivan, Boston is famous but a color version with Boston was unknown to me, is mentioned in Lew's book and he uses the term "truly rare" in reference to this card. Note the text matches the size & proportion to the B/W Sullivan, Boston but the text on the color Sullivan, Chicago is a different size. I(we) now know it does exist:

Does this open up the possibility of a B/W E97 Sullivan with Chicago?
