I don't have these scanned and must travel today, so only have a minute to list mine (sorry.... no pics)

1. Tony Perez Game-Used Reds Flannel Home Jersey from 1970 (his best year)
2. Houston Colt .45s Johnny Temple Home Jersey from 1964 (Smoking Gun Front!)
3. Huge oval metal Crosley Field Ticket Sign from 1930s with early Mr. Red mascot
4. Babe Ruth Mutoscope Machine from 1930s
5. (Tie) 1913 Christy Mathewson / NY Giants World Tour Vertical Pennant (from Halper collection)
or
1919 Cincinnati Reds Pennant (team that "defeated" the Black Sox)

I probably didn't get the order right, but those would prbably be the last 6 things I would want to part with.

1) Chris Chambliss's game worn yankees hat from the late 1970's. I bought it for my dad last Christmas. I also just picked up his 1980's Atlanta Braves game worn helmet, will post photos when i get it. If anyone has anything game used of Chris Chambliss i would be interested if your selling. I really want one of his jersey's but the one that i know of the guy ain't selling it right now. Also looking for any 1977/78 yankee bats.

2)1905 Napoleon LaJoie professional model decal bat. I really dont know why this is on my list when im trying to sell it.

3.Lou Piniella game used bat from his yankee days.

4)Robinson Cano game used 2007 bat. I like this item the most really.

5)2008 Game Used Rosin Bag from the final year at yankee stadium.

P.S.
Sorry for the big photos, i don't like to resize them because i always make them to small that you cant see the items.

I am not as into memorabilia collecting as you folks although I do enjoy lurking in this forum and enjoy much of what you post. I'm mostly a card guy but I have an odds and sods collection of old stadium postcards, a few old scorecards, a few Hartland figurines etc. Here are some of the things I like best:

The jury is still out whether the signature is real. Looks good to me but what do I know? Will get it authenticated one of these years.

1961 Yankees line-up. Don't know when it was manufactured but I like it because those guys are at the core of my baseball memories, and the detailing is very accurate. Also in the picture is Moose Skowron's 1957 game used Yankees cap.

I have been to a grand total of two world series games in my life. I saw Game 3 of the Giants-Angels WS in 2002 forty-five years after watching Lew Burdette set down the Yankees in Game 2 of the 1957 WS.

Let It Be Known to All Men that I hereby bequeath upon my decease this utterly cool Saskatchewan football pennant to Utterly Cool Max Weder of Vancouver, B.C.

(Edited for totally stupid spelling mistake)

I've been trying to control myself, 'cause all of these items have been on the board before. But I just can't resist. (Perhaps I should hire the Bruces lawyer to advise me.)

Here's what I believe is the oldest existing Yankees cap--pitcher Marty McHale's 1913 lid:

The only extant scored program from Jack Chesbro's "wild pitch" game, 10 October 1904:

The program and engraved invitation stub for the first game at Yankee Stadium:

Game-used baseball signed by the 1927 Yankees:

The four foot high copper "M" from the original "Yankee Stadium" lettering:

Just like "raindrops on roses," these are a few of my favorite things.

David,
I was waiting for you to show your great items. I love that M and also the 1927 yankee ball. I can only hope my collection will be like that one day.

David, that Yankee ball is one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever seen. Thank you for posting.

These are my top 5 in no particular order. All are connected to Kansas baseball in some way. The trophy bat was awarded to a Topeka player. Chief Meyers played in the World Tour game in Kansas. The Joe Wood photo is the earliest I know of him in a baseball uniform. The Kansas CDV is the only one I know of. Finally, the World Tour ticket is something I searched a long time for and was lucky enough to find.

Clint

1) 1916 silver trophy bat.

2) Chief Meyers bat.

3) Joe Wood Ness City Kansas photo. Joe is in the lower right corner.

4) Kansas CDV

5) Blue Rapids World Tour ticket.

and just for luck tonight...

Beautiful, Greg. What year is the Royal Rooters pinback?

(Ya know, I'm so pissed at the Yankee organization for their monumental greed and hubris in tearing the Stadium down and pricing the new one out of reach of most fans that I'm seriously considering becoming a Sawx fan.)

Keith... That Baltimore Pennant is to die for!

I may not be remembering correctly... did you say you got that one as part of a group lot, from Ebay? If so, it might be the best "under the radar" steal of the Century!

David,

The pinback was made up for the Rooters in Pittsburgh during the 1903 World Series. Those are the Rooters behind the team pictured in front.

"Baseball As Viewed by a Muffin"? Could I borrow that? I need something to read after I complete "Mah-Jongg from the Perspective of some Moo Goo Gai Pan". Seriously, that is the funniest book title I've seen in ages. Thanks for the chuckle! I take it that the book is quite rare. Is it children's lit?
