Default Buying and Selling Modern Bats

I think I understand a little about the pre-war baseball bat market, but I don't know much about buying or selling bats used by contemporary players. If I want to buy a bat of a particular player, I suppose I would look at ebay and mlb auctions, and I might look into the buy sell trade feature at Game Used Universe. But if I want to sell a bat, let's say a rookie bat of a current star, what sorts of options are there? Since I don't know the market at all, I would prefer to sell through an auction---but are there any particular auctions that like to handle modern bats? Or is ebay the way to go? Any advice would be appreciated.
