very cool looking cards and very desirable to many collectors.

I don't think the grading will matter much when it comes to the value of these cards -
but if you do want them in a slab, I believe both PSA and SGC would encapsulate them.

The number grade is meaningless and they possibly would just receive an 'A', which also would have no effect on the value of these cards.

The value comes from their coolness.

great cards - thanks for showing them.

Your examples are somewhat extreme which makes them rather collectible amongst print error collectors.

The ghost image should get a number grade. Kruger may only get an 'A'.

Both cards will absolutely sell in excess of common pricing.

Scott

I can't answer for SGC or PSA, but barring evidence of alteration, these could both be given numerical grades by Beckett (BVG). The errors could be notated on the labels as well.

Great looking cards! I thought that first one, at first glance, looked like the old lady from the American Gothic painting. If so, this would be her pre-rookie as the painting is from 1930 happy.gif

These are desirable cards but in this economy, all bets are off as far as how they'd do at auction. If you'd like to see more freaky prints, my site has a batch:

Which is why I have chosen Beckett to holder my print/card errors. They also offer UV protection, a non-slip inner sleeve, and are virtually indestructible. There is simply no match if you want your card protected!

Those examples are awesome!

...on T206Museum.com at one point? I feel like I saw that ghost image maybe 7 or 8 years ago, maybe even before I ever saw a proper Weimer.

Dan,
Thanks for posting these really neat T206 errors. Hard to believe that 100 years later two of the Kruger misprints (yours and the Mastro example) have survived. Pretty sure these two came from the same sheet.
