Hey Barry, 3 out of 5 aare EPDG's, there goes your theory of scarcity.

The AB are narrower but should be the smae hieght, check that card. Also if the corners of the Cobb are clipped (hard to tell from scan) it will not grade.

At first glance I would say no but I would have to see the edges under magnification. What are the card's dimensions?

...is not trimmed or altered, in this collector's opinion.

A red Cobb with a Tolstoi back ... nice way to start out your T206 collection!

It looks like the back and front of the Cobb are starting to separate a little at the bottom. Perhaps someone here who is more familiar with the T206 paper and printing process can tell us if that indicates the card is real or not.

From the scan it looks real and untrimmed to me. Definitely worth getting the Cobb graded ... it will not grade more than a 1, but that card in a PSA or SGC slab will be worth more if/when you sell it.

In the last year, I've seen perhaps 4-6 Tolstoi Cobbs (Red & Bat Off); I own a bat off. 707 has a PSA 3 Red Cobb Tolstoi available for $1400.

I think that for Cobbs, Tolstois are less difficult than EPDG, Hindu, AB and Cycle but more difficult than Sovereigns, PBs and OMs.
