I can certainly appreciate some of these cards but I'm not a fan of beaters in my collection. I know someday I will have to take one for the team when I finally get a t216 virginia extra miller big glove card it will likely be ugly!!!!!

I’d settle for half a Ramly Burkett.

How many T102s are out there?

Somebody here probably has it, but about 25 years ago I saw a T206 Wagner in a shop in Kansas City that was torn and had pieces missing. But it was what it was, and the owners were quite proud of it. I would happily have it.

Without a doubt. I plan on someday adding an E107 Jimmy Collins. It won't be pretty.

Yes, if it's for a set. You can always hope to upgrade.

If it's just because I want one then it would have to have some eye appeal.

I once paid handsomely for Lionel Carter's Eddie Plank (right side, top row, middle), which one Net54 member once said looked like it had been chewed up and spit out by his dog. I sold it when I got an offer I could not refuse. But, I have to say, it was hard for me to really enjoy the card because of the condition. I liked owning it, to be sure, but when people asked me what my favorite card in my collection was that was never it.... and I feel like the most expensive card in your collection should probably be one you actually love to look at.

N269 Lorillard Mechanics Delight John L. Sullivan.

Most of a Darby card...

Love the card, hate the cost...hence this one.

There are only a handful of these Type2 York Caramels around, so you have to take what you can get! I’ve seen a couple more , each in way better condition than this one , so I am the owner of the worst !

Default Who says you can't have it both ways

My T205 Wilhelm has paper loss on the back on the 'suffered' line, so I like to think I have both variations within one card.

Sometimes if it's the only show in town - you better grab it before someone else does!!!!!

Check out my 33 Briggs Ruth, not the prettiest, but with a total of only 7 on the Pop charts combined, I'm so glad I pulled the trigger when I did!!!!

And Babe's friend Larry
