I know there was some discussion about this not long ago, but I just have to revisit. I was looking thru a Trader Speaks from 1977 and here are some of the things you could have gotten back then.
50 diff T206 EX $60
1934 Goudey Gehrig VG $30
275 diff 1956 Topps EX-MT $55
1915 Cracker Jack complete set described as NM-MT and the best set this person had ever seen for $1500
Last but not least was an article in here talking about the sale of a T206 Plank(condition not given) for $1900.
The good old days!
