Default Jackie Robinson Opinion

Hey All - this is a curious case. RR didn’t issue a LOA but has examined and authenticated. Although the letter is odd, it did in fact come from RR. PSA issued an inconclusive...it seems as though everyone is 50/50 on this. What do you think? Thanks!

I've stated my opinion before and gotten slammed here; however, here goes again: authenticate it yourself before bidding at RR. They do a great job and I think they are one of the more honest AH's but I've seen a few I wouldn't bid on. Based on the tiny, blurry photo in the link, I wouldn't touch this one.

I've seen a few psa had passed and had my doubts, in fact so did they when the card went back to be reslabbed

I wouldn’t say they “authenticated” it as you don’t even know if they removed it from the frame, etc. They may have just been saying, it appears good but we’re passing on it either way. I do see they said they think it’s authentic in Robinson’s hand, but maybe they’re just brushing it off nicely. Without having a good clean photo of the signature and front and back of the item I wouldn’t bid.

I would pass . There is too great of a doubt on this item . Additionally finding a better quality and certified ( if that's your desire) Jackie Robinson autograph isn't hard or cost prohibitive or time consuming. You can do better. .
