Default What makes this a Venezuelan?

Back says printed in USA. What am I missing?

Many of the 1959 Topps Venezuelan cards, maybe more than half, have Printed In USA rather than Impreso En Venezuela. The first series is easy to tell because the Venezuelans will have a gray back and the regular Topps will have a white back. The high number 1959 Venezuelans with Printed In USA on the back are more difficult to tell because both they and the regular Topps cards have gray backs. ETA, that 1959 Pignatano has a gray back, which means it has to be a 1959 Venezuelan. All regular 1959 Topps cards from the first series 1-110 have white backs.

Yeah, PSA probably had it in hand and could tell based on the card stock and thickness. The gray back looks darker than American ones from the same set.

Here's an example of the difference between the Venezuelan and US Topps cards. The Venie (with no gloss and made of cheaper cardstock) is on the left, and the regular Topps is on the right:

The Pignatano front looks normal to me not cheap but not my area of knowledge.
