Paul, What year are those? They resemble the M101-2 style.

Thankyou Bill K...

Steve, they are 1907-09 Novelty Cutlery postcards. My favorite set for some time now.

Not quite a card, but pretty rare. Celebrates the 1912 World Series Championship and lists many of the players in song.

Paul. Those PCs are in very nice shape. Dan, congrats on that Wagner. Greg, that sheet music is remarkable. Would look great matted, framed and mounted in a Boston home. Those covers are real works of art.

Thanks Steve, I also have a 1903 Boston Americans March Sheet music from the First WS with Jimmy Collins on the cover. While not in Boston, they currently live pretty close by in Rhode Island (although I did live in Boston for 6 years going to school).

By the way, what I find pretty amusing is who the music was written by in the bottom row. Check it out.

All the best and hope we have a good year coming up.

Greg

Thanks Joe. It's the Friends University Quakers of Wichita, KS. The players are listed on the back. One of the reasons I like writing on postcards is it sometimes helps identify players and location. My dad found this for me. Four eyes are better than two.

Congrats on that awesome Oakes! Had it tracked. It's one of those iconic cards I vow to own one of these days.

I'm pretty happy to have landed a Demmitt (from Huggins & Scott) to go with my O'Hara since St. Louisans are probably the subset on which I focus most while chipping away at the Monster. However, the more I look at the card, the more I worry that the front - at least in relation to the reverse - is a little too clean?

Hopefully it's nothing more than a case of very fortuitous packaging back in the day, but my jaundiced eye suggests otherwise. If the card was indeed bathed, it's too bad because I actually love the staining on Polar Bears. Even better if there are little shards of tobacco still embedded in the card. Then again, I'm also a reprobate who fondles and snorts old cardboard.

Thanks to Steve for the Michel and Frank for breaking up his large lot of T210-2s so I could get a few.
