Default N172 Question

Posted By: JimB

I won this N172 Mickey Welch last night in the Goodwin Auction. When I went to VCP to look it up, I noticed that the card they have depicted for this description has the "Smiling Mickey" written in a different place on the card. This is the "Smiling Mickey, ball in hand above waist" version. I imagine there are a lot of uncataloged minor variations like this in the N172 set. Can anybody speak to this at all? Did I just pick up an incredible new uncataloged find?
Thanks,
JimB

I believe they are both well known variations.

The pose on the left is 486-3 (b); the pose on the right is 486-3 (c).
The pose also comes without "Smiling Mickey" and instead "Welsh(sic), P., New Yorks" at the bottom of the card in the usual place (a).
