Default How many completed Cracker Jack sets exist?

One of my non collector friends was checking out my collection the other day and asked how many completed sets were out there. Great question, I told him, I have no idea!

What do you guys think? How many for 1914 and 1915?

For 1914, I know there are 5 on the PSA registry and I know another guy who's got a completed set. I'm assuming there's a few raw completed sets out there.

My guess is that there's less than 25 completed 1914 sets and <50 of 1915.

high or low?

I've often wondered this about pre-war sets in general.

A very knowledgable collector recently told me that he thought there were very few (if any) completed raw 1914 cracker jack sets by old timers as the set is just too hard to complete without a mass communications platform like ebay. If you're seeing this post and have a raw completed set or know of one give us a reply so we can do an estimate!

You know a lot more than I do about CJs but I would be very surprised if there are 25 complete sets of 14 CJs out there. Since you could send off for the 15 set back in the day I could see quite a few out there in a private collection or someone's attic. 50 wouldn't surprise me.
