Default 500 HR Ball on E-bay!!! NICE

The Grey Ghost likes to have a chuckle from time to time and I think this one is as funny as they come. It even has a COA. Despite me reporting this obvious forgery 3 day ago, E-bay does nothing but thank me for my report.

The thing that is just amazing is that this ball has 29 WATCHERS! That must mean there are 29 morons out there that must not have got the Memo about Stat Unauthentic.

How can you see how many people are watching an item?

Stat is supposed to be a banned authenticator. Ebay has to pull that.

I also reported a Frangipani Babe Ruth story signed softball today. I hope they pull that, same reason (banned authenticator)

The only way to know the amount of watchers is if you contact the seller and he decides to tell you. Other than that, you have no idea how many people are watching this ball unless you are the seller.

CCSA sells these in quantities. A few months ago, they sold a dozen at once in one lot and I think it brought like $1,300.

http://www.myccsa.com/Lot.aspx?LotID=210980 , this month.

GreyGhost, CCSA started...where's the "Roach's Corner" thread for the May auction? :-)

That softball is wonnnndddeeerful!

Didn't want to upset you Fudge, but maybe you should have stated from the beginning where you found out your information about the watchers of this ball.

By the way, whose the third dummy?

"By the way, whose the third dummy?'

Might be me.

Yes it would have been nice to tell how he knew it.

I'm the 3rd dummy!, because I started the stupid post. who'd ya think?

Just a little board and i'd thought I'd spice it up a bit. BTW, I in no means meant to offend anyone with the idiot remark, dummy, a-clown. I am nothing but tounge in cheek and use that word loosely. I am often considered all of the above where autograph collecting is concerned.
