Default question re: Babe Ruth photo

7 x 8 1/2 photo by International News.....uncertain if this was from a particular game or event at the ballpark (the photograph features no date as it is missing the paper strip with text which describes what is shown on a press photo, nor does it have a date stamped anywhere).

it is obvious that Ruth is being mobbed by fans seeking autographs, and a boy holding a 1946 New York Yankees program/scorecard can be seen at left, which leads me to believe it's a 1946 photograph.....while it's probably not so unusual for Ruth to be shown in a photo signing autographs, I'd like to find some info regarding this particular one.

my question is whether or not one or more of you may have a copy of this exact photo (with the original text) or otherwise be able to identify the event at which this photo was taken, perhaps by its placement in a magazine or newspaper (which may feature the text that originally accompanied the photograph).

thanks in advance.
