Default average price for C. wagner e91c american caramel card

Posted By: Ron

My dad showed me a box of old things he was clearing out today. He's 83 and said one item was my great grandpas wallet. As I went through it I found a 1910 c. wagner american caramel baseball card. This card has not been removed since 1911 when he died. The card is in excellent shape, and was wondering (ballpark) ha, about how much this little baby's worth.thanks for reading. Ron

I have sold a few of those types of Wagners and they usually don't command the premium other Wagners bring due to the mostly generic pose. My guess is that your card is not technically in EX shape as that is extremely high grade for this issue. My guess on one that is professionally graded a 5 would be about $1200-$1800 (maybe more).....I sold one in fair shape not a long time ago for about $350...and my guess is that technically yours would be in fair to good shape...as that is the more common "technical" grade of most of them I have seen. Of course the better the condition the higher the value......Hope this helps a little bit...

Is this a C.Wagner(Heinie?) or H.Wagner? A C.Wagner will sell for $100 or less I think, maybe more but I haven't been following the set.

I just noticed the "c"....of course Heinie Wagner would be considerably less. A Heinie Wagner in fair to good is about $25-$30 ...and if truly in EX shape would be about $100-$150 imo.....sorry bout that....I always think of "Honus"....

Here's the real "C" Wagner...."C" for Charles. Like Honus, Heinie played ss most of his career.
Also, both Wagner's are in 3rd Series of the E91 issue.
