Default Milwaukee Braves Collectors

I have never seen these paper placemats before. Any idea of the origin of these?

Default Place mats

There are a couple of these currently for sale on eBay. There were several different companies sponsoring the Braves by using placemats. I am guessing that the Point Beer distributors gave or sold them to bars and restaurants that purchased Point Beer.

As long as we're asking about oddball Milwaukee Braves items, anyone have an idea where/how this was distributed, and by whom?

These were ladies day give-aways at the ball park. Rumor has it there was a warehouse find of these years back which might explain why they are relatively plentiful.

Thanks, good to know. And that has got to be one of the ugliest things I've seen!

It's just a crude depiction of the Braves Stanford Pottery Bank. Always wondered why they picked that as the depicted image.

Seems odd.
