I know we have discussed these before but I am doing a little more research on them. Can anyone give me anything they know on these or how many you have? I might have some news on them soon....best regards (it's the 2 of them that have the little red borders around them. Hornsby and Mack)

Last year an auction house was selling a calendar with similar images on the sides of it. Figure these were just cut from a calendar.

Thanks...I will dispel the calendar myth in the next week or so (although there could have been managers on a calendar this isn't where these cards came from).....plus from what I heard the calendar was from the early 20's? All of these were managers in 1935.....I believe....at any rate I believe I will have some definitive proof in the near future of what these really are.....stay tuned...you heard it here first ....

Why do these remind me of matchbook covers?

Is it just me, or is the photo in each one of these cards at a slight angle compared to the orange border?

They are cut outs from a game box. Don't take that to the bank though...
