I was sure that card was bought by an elderly baby-boomer who would soon die and flood the market with cards. So relieved that a spry 50 year old got it.

Damn. Good for you. Great buy vs realized prices. Amazing piece and one that belongs in your Cobb collection. I bet you were nervous; big stakes with every bid at that level. I was watching it. Congratulations to you.

Which might explain why none of the posts following Jeff's have included a pickup. Haha.

Nice snag Jeff!

True not much else would unless another member picks up a Wagner. Nice pick up Jeff. A relative bargain compared to what they were reported to go for when the find was first announced.

Jeff takes all the cake indeed. But I am still proud of this fella. And if any net54 member ended up with the 1904 Pittsburgh Leader Wagner, congrats and great battle, you win!

Congrats on that Wagner! I think you got a steal. I was watching it closely. Definitely high on my want list.

Wow Jeff - an absolutely amazing pickup! One of the premier cards in the hobby at that grade. I sold my “2” in 2016 and still regret it. Not much left for you to conquer for Cobb cardboard....maybe it’s time to sit back and enjoy your unrivaled Georgia Peach collection!

Regards,
Joe T.
