Nope. I don't really care about the flip. If I enjoy the card I feel that much better if it is a 6 because it means I paid less for it. Let someone else try to bump it; if I sell they can pay me for the bump potential.
Leon, I use VCP to get a baseline read on a card. It does allow click-throughs to recent eBay completed listings, which is helpful. I usually check the low and high sales to see if there was some reason I can spot for the out of the norm price. I paid more for this card than VCP average for a 6 because the centering and registration made the card really look good to me. I imagine the toning on the back accounts for the technical grade. here is my favorite example of a technical grade I don't care about: I got the card for a song. The back is miscut, but who can read the back of a 1975 Topps BK card anyway?
