Default Determining the Year for 1934-36 Diamond Stars

Sorry in advance if this has been discussed, but I searched the forums and couldn't find an answer.

How do I determine which is the specific year of issue for my 1934-36 Diamond Stars?

I have two Maranvilles that both have a 1934 copyright and look identical. PSA has labeled one a 1934 and one a 1935 (I know, I know, it's PSA)

I have two other cards that have a 1935 copyright and one is labeled a 1935 Berger and one is a 1936 Babich.

Thanks for any help

You have posted this in the wrong place... It should be on the main forum... Hopefully Leon will move it....

To answer your question, you can't go by the copyright date and you can't go by what the grading companies say... They make mistakes.... The answer to your question lies in the statistics that are mentioned on the back near the bottom of the card... For example, if the statistics say that he hit 50 home runs in 1933, then it is a 1934 card. If the stats say that he won 24 games in 1934, then it is a 1935 card. If the stats say, he hit 72 doubles in 1935, then it is a 1936 card.
