Default Going to the Pittsburgh show this weekend?

Posted By: Rob D.

I had planned on attending the "Pittsburgh XXX" show at Robert Morris University this weekend for the lone reason of trying to find an R306 Butter Cream of Lloyd Waner to complete my set. Call me overly optimistic, but I had a gut feeling that because Waner played the majority of his career with the Pirates, I'd find the card in Pittsburgh.

Now that something has come up and I can't make the 2-hour drive, I'm convinced the card will be there. If you're going to the show and wouldn't mind keeping an eye out for one and calling me if you see one, please e-mail me at wolfie51sb@aol.com so we can discuss specifics and payment of a finder's fee.

Thanks,

Rob

Rob, I wouldn't waste your energy. How can your set be complete without the Ruth?

If you go in there asking for Butter Creams 3 dealers will know what you're looking for, the rest will send you to the concession stand.

Rob and I were talking about what we thought the Ruth BC would go for in REA; I was only off by about 100K.

And unfortunately, I was nearly right on the money. I would have preferred Jeff be right.

Rob,

My son Turner and I will be there Friday at 4PM when the doors open and will keep an eye out for you.
Please email your cell phone number/ home number and we will call you when / if one is found. Heck, I will even hand my cell phone to the dealer for you to talk with him to complete your deal while standing at the table.

I have noticed a considerable drop in Pre War material recently at this show. Don't get me wrong there is a fair amount but not like it used to be 3-4 years ago.

No finders fee needed.

Matt
