I'd like to thank Leon for his permission to post this

Late in May, we will be introducing a four-sport Graded Card Price Guide with heavy emphasis on VINTAGE cards.

Here are some of the details

Charter Subscription for one year (4 quarterly issues) only $24.99

— 160 pages of multi-sport graded card coverage
— The most extensive vintage card pricing available
— One-stop resource for graded card collectors of all levels

We have all been working hard here at Beckett Media to make this an absolutely awesome publication.

When it comes out, we'd love to hear your comments, so please feel free to make me your conduit for comments (RKlein@Beckett.Com)

Thanks in advance to everyone.

Rich Klein

Is this going to be available at bookstores or card shops?

But if you can't find a copy; let me know and I'll make sure you get a copy.

I was informed that single copy order systems are well on the way to being implemented as well.

So, Dan (and anyone else) don't worry -- issues will be easy to obtain

Rich

That's great. Can you give us a list of which pre-WWII baseball sets will be covered/

We'll let you know, I do know that it will be substantive and includes many sets which previously had been ONLY priced in the Almanac. When I get a complete list, I'll let you know

Rich

Rich,

Sounds great. Can you let us know what percentage of the magazine will be articles about vintage cards and memoribilia and what percentage will be strictly price guide?

Thanks,

Andy

I can't give percentages for vintage vs modern but I suspect vintage will be a huge part. Since everyone (even on this board) defines vintage slightly differently, I won't know for sure UNTIL we have final proofs, nor will anyone else.

And thanks for the words of encouragement. We're all working very hard here on this, and I'm also working on the new Almanac at the same time; it's an exciting time to be here

Rich

Just curious if they plan on using prices from auction houses, ebay or their retail network?

Rich,

Sorry, I didn't mean to ask strictly about vintage stuff. I just meant, will there be a decent amount of articles in the pages or will it be more like the Baseball Cards Plus guides that have a couple of articles for reading and then 95% of the magazine is pricing info?

I love reading about cards and memoribilia and I really miss the Beckett Vintage Collectibles mags from a few years ago.

Thanks,

Andy

As I said we're working on the publication and when I know what the final mix of editorial, pricing, etc. I'll post some answers. Since the project is still being worked on, there are no hard and fast answers.

I'm not trying to avoid answering your question, just trying to make sure everyone understands that we won't know some answers till the project is finished.

But we thought it was better to start spreading the word now, and I'm glad we did to get feedback, rather than just presenting the work as a fait accompli.

Regards
Rich
