This game cries out for a bull pen.

Behind 49-30 in the bottom of the ninth Troy comes up 16 runs short.

Only 14 total runners left on base.

Fortunately there was a double play or the score could have been higher.

Ugh, don't remind me. I had at least five of those hitters in my fantasy lineup but benched them at the last minute because I saw the forecast called for rain.

Of course the game was played without gloves back then, which would have accounted for some of the stats that filled up that sheet. But yes, those total runs were truly an outlier.
