Does this count? Not a sheet but a box lid. And sorry it's from 1955.

Default 1949 BOWMAN (1st series sheet)

In some regions of the country the 1st series of BOWMAN cards in 1949 (circa..April-May) comprised of 36 subjects. In other regions, 72 subjects were available.
As a kid growing up in Hillside, NJ in our neighborhood all 72 were available.

On display here are cards #1 -3, 73, 5 - 36.

.

BOWMAN printed 7 sheets (36-cards each) to produce this set of 240 cards. The first 6 sheets have been discovered. I don't know of anyone who has (or has seen)
the 7th sheet. If anyone on this forum has seen, or even has a 7th sheet (cards #217 - 240, plus 12 variations) please post it here.
Or email me at...... tedzan11@comcast.net

The major stars on the 2nd sheet (cards #37 - 72) in this series are Jackie and Yogi......

As I'm a big Bowman fan, I appreciate seeing your 1949 sheet Josh, and your 1950 panels Ted. Those are so cool!

thanks guys.
Ive been getting into uncut sheets more lately. with all the trimming, altering going on with cards, uncut sheets seem fairly tamper-resistant.

Ted, yeah I’ve scrolled through this whole thread a number of times. Even though I don’t collect football, your 1952 Bowman football sheet looks really nice!
