Default SGC and T222s

There was a question the other day about whether or not a card was really EX, is this one really good? Derek is super tough on these, huh? Just has the usual cracking with no creases.

Default SGC and T222s

I submitted a T200 Cleveland Am. to SGC back in the Merkle days. It had no creases but it did have some light enamel cracking. It came back a 60....which kinda surprised me. I also had an SGC 80 Pittsburgh with corner creasing (post Merkle). Quite honestly, I never really pay much attention to the assigned grades on Fatimas.

Default SGC and T222s

Keith-

It's a lost cause with graded T222's, I think - I have 2 SGC's similar to yours, one a 30 and the other a 40. They don't differentiate between cracks and creases, which would be okay, except that T207's have similar problems and the cracking is generally ignored. Also, T200's seem to get easier treatment.

Amazingly, there's one SGC 88: it's 3 grades better than any other in their population report (PSA still hasn't graded a single T222). I can't imagine how that card could have survived in that condition.

Bill
