Default OT: Start stocking up on Blaze Jordan cards

Future star. He is 15 years old and can already hit the ball 500 feet.

He looks like Sean Burroughs at the same age...perhaps he will go further.

"...If you search hard enough on the internet, you can also find photos of Jordan, now 15, working out this past winter with Albert Pujols. And plenty of other videos of tape-measure homers..."

After working out with Blaze, Pujols said:
"Just keep your swing simple. I don't see anything you need to change."

The first video was cool, but my first reaction was meh, aluminum bat.

The second was way more impressive. No ping, so not aluminum, but 500 off a wood bat? The sound wasn't really right for wood either, some sort of composite?

Rice supposedly hit at least one around 450 in HS.

Good story and videos of Blaze. He can really crush the ball. Thats quite the compliment from Pujols.

100% composite bat, looks like a Easton Mako XL. A star ten year old can hit the ball 250 feet plus with these Composite bats. These bats are no longer being used in Little League and other charted organizations. The new USA bat standards make all aluminum bats preform like wood. A 12 year old Little League player during the US regional championship hit a home run 375 feet with a full Composite bat. Not impressed

I still say meh. Let him hit a big league slider that far, then we'll talk.

I could see him hitting homers over the Green Monster.

It won't be long before the kid has different colored cards, each color signed in limited quantities, ready for savvy investors at $1k each.

He is a dime a dozen player right now.
