Anyone here have any experience with amazon.com or naxcom, com as an alternative to ebay? Any comments will be appreciated.

I wish someone else could give ebay a run for their money. But no other entity gets close to the number of hits that Ebay gets.

The following is in regard to VINTAGE pieces...

If you are investigating other options as a buyer, you will see a very limited selection of quality goods. Ebay gets infinitely more listings than the others.

If you are considering other options as a seller, you'll want to be very careful. Ebay is viewed many more times, and the prices realized are much greater. Rather than using Amazon or Naxcom (for selling) the Catalogue Auctions provide your best alternative to Ebay.

It would be great to see more on-line competition develop, as it would truly benefit the collectibles marketplace. But for now, ebay is the much preferred on-line option. Hope this helps...
