The card you have posted might look a little like Bugs Raymond in the photo, but if you find other pictures of Raymond, he looks nothing like the man in the photo. He was "Super Aged" due to years of drinking and hard living and by the time he died in 1912 he looked like a 50 year old.

Robert, I saw that one on ebay a month or so back and I don't think it's a major leaguer. It's a great photo, but probably a minor leaguer or town teamer. The sweater most likely would have some team identification if this was a major leaguer.

Thanks ! I tend to WAY over anul-ize these things ! If nothing else , I read a very interesting " Bugs " Raymond article . Never realized what a tragic figure he was .
