Old NY Business Directories?

Anyone with experience tracking historical addresses for businesses in New York want to point me in the right direction for the best resource(s) to use? In particular right now, I'm looking for info on when Globe Photos moved. They have been around since 1939, and I know they were at the following addresses at some point in the 1950's to 1980's:

67 West 44th St, NY 36

152 West 54th St, NY 19

404 Park Ave South, NY 10016

329 East 42nd Street, NY 10017

275 7th Ave, NY NY 10001

There may also be other addresses that they occupied besides those. The first two are pre-1963 (pre-zip code), but that's all I know for sure at this point. I'm trying to narrow down the dates on some otherwise undated photos, so knowing when they moved offices would be very helpful. If possible, I would prefer a lesson in fishing over a list of dates, as this probably won't be the last time I need to do this kind of research.

I just found where the New York Public Library digitized and made available the 1939/1940 Manhattan directory which gave an address of

33 West 42nd

for Globe Photos, so that would appear to be a sixth address and where they got their start after incorporating in 1939. (Just to show I'm tryin' here)

Anyone know of any other online resources for old NYC phone directories?
