Can anyone identify these two baseball cloth items? Did they come from a set of pennets from the early 1900s? Also can anyone tell me if the two b18 blankets I have are rare. I have 2 Sweeeny's from NY but they have different backgrounds....is one background more scare then the other? Thanks...I'm doing some spring cleaning!

Mark, they are common as they come in several colored backrounds ( I beleive four possibilities ). The blue is harder to find. if you don't need the money you may wish to save them only because they have not exploded in todays market like every other form of vintage material so they have a future I would think. The Senators pennant is cool!

Not possitive on the pennants, but I believe that they could be bought by themselves. The ones, like the BF2s that were sold with candy, etc, did not have streamers. Is the size about 4" x 8"?

The Tigers I've seen before, but not the Senators. They are from 1930s.

BF2s are the small pennants with player pics issued in the late teens early 20s.

The Sweeney B18s are among the most common in the set. That being said, the blue background is slightly more difficult (IMHO) than the green.
