Default Cards from tough sets you are happy to have, even in rough shape

Thought I would post a group of cards from tough sets that I have always considered myself fortunate to have, even if they are in rougher shape. What prompted me to post these cards is because I just found out, thanks to Net54 help, that the Connor card that for years I thought was an Old Judge is actually a Gypsy Queen. Let's see yours!

Brian (the Goodall card is a 1924 Crescent Ice Cream card...probably the most obscure of the cards I posted)

Not exactly a card I break out at parties to impress my friends, but I love it nonetheless...

I feel very lucky to have landed this T215 Red Cross for my Jersey City collection. The condition doesn't bother me at all.

Wow that card is a great example of this thread...no wait...it should be in EVERY thread. I love the 19th century HOF cards ( who doesn’t ) and this is absolutely amazing

I don't think I've posted this before. It was my first Menagerie which I got from another board member who has helped me out on a bunch of other projects as well.

Given the recent two sales of the W600 Wagner Suit, happy to have this one. One day it will get a professional cleaning to remove some of the crud.

brianp-beme,

I am glad the posting of my trimmed large size Gypsy Queen Tim Keefe card allowed you to find out your Conner card was also a trimmed Gypsy Queen card.

Not up to the level of some of the rarities on the thread so far but I was excited to receive this S74 Type 2 Silk of Charles Bender

Default T4 John Tiedemann (Trimmed to oval)

My first T4 was trimmed to the oval, so I had it matted to the size of the original.

Here are a few that the condition I ignore. There are others, of course, but these are really tough cards to find, let alone finding them in pristine shape (well the D304 Cobb can be found nicer, but not in my price range!).

Great stuff everyone! I'll take rarity over condition any day of the week. Here's a few tough ones I'm happy to own.

+1! Great cards, Erick. My best qualifiers would be 1917-20 Felix Mendelsohn's Walter Johnson (in a "3" holder it could never get again!) and Rogers Hornsby authentic.

Best wishes,

Larry

Great cards guys.
Here is another one, shown before but apropos, and I am glad to have it. I will take any others, even in this condition, if anyone sees or has any
