Has to be raw. Crossover would require another submission type and separate return shipping. So you could crack it out first.

Hey Bobby, what's the specific cut-off date for getting cards to you for this submission? Not sure I have anything worthy, but I may look if there's any time left.

Ben....they don't put the years on these things!!! Sometimes the writings is in Japanese. I have never felt so clueless before in my life. And I am a smart man!!! There are literally over 20,000 variations! On the T206's, I can figure out the variations in case the submitter missed something. On these things, I am totally at the submitter's mercy as to what to call these things.

If you need help, send me a picture of some of them. I can identify most of the variations. Once you figure out the set symbol, you get the year and set name. Main problem is in figuring out if they're holo-foil (top picture is reflective) or reverse holo-foil (border and text box are reflective).
COMC will help you with figuring out the character or translation if you search for the year and card number, because you may be able to find an English card from the same set.

For normal submissions, factory signed cards from 1998-present are fine for submission if you only want the card graded.
There is a guy on Blowout and Collector's Unlimited (PSA) boards that is putting together his annual blue flip bulk submission that I could point you to. I've had him submit about 40 for me over the past two years. Blue flips are only authenticating the auto, not the card, so they also take cuts and signed postcards/photographs/index cards.

This will be the last group sub. Unless ya'll got normal cards, I am done. This is WAYYYY too much research on these oddball cards, and it is making me fall behind.

I don't blame you. I appreciate all the work you are doing and it is hard enough with normal cards much less handling oddball cards which many probably don't know what they are thus submit them to find out.

Maybe have everyone due their own PSA submission (but they don't submit it) and print it and ship it with the cards to you???? Not sure if that would help or not. Either way, I appreciate you doing this.

Due to extenuating personal life circumstances, I was unable to participate in this group sub, and am sad to see that it's the last one.

Bobby, I know this must be an enormous undertaking, and I am truly grateful for your efforts on the last group sub that I was in.

I think that's it.

For example, if you use the auto fill, it's pretty easy to see all the variations.

Problem (I think) comes with if you follow the paper form and just write in the description of your card, it doesn't match always. IF everyone would HAVE to use the auto fill (or, in my case if I knew about the auto fill feature), it would have made Bobby's job easier.

I agree. I think that has to be the best way to do this type of submission.
When I sent my cards I went onto PSA's website to make sure I was giving the proper descriptions and I realized it was easiest to simply print the completed form and then not submit it.
I want to thank Bobby again for all his efforts.

Bobby, give me a call about the Magic - 239-822-5726 . I'll run the next PSA bulk submission with all cards received by March 15th.

Here's the basics:
Cards with no set symbol from 1993 are the following:
Alpha: Black bordered with very rounded corners
Beta: Black bordered with lightly rounded corners
3rd Unlimited: White bordered with washed out colors and T for tap symbol
3rd Revised: White bordered, Stronger colors and arrow symbol for tap
Summer Magic/Edgar: White bordered, 1994 Copyright date, except two cards (Blue and Red Elemental Blast?) that were released in magazines.

And for those that have cut signatures or autographed cards to get authenticated, here is a very reasonable bulk submission for those items:

He runs one huge auto submission every year through both Blowout and PSA/CU. If you don't have a blowout account, I recommend you get one.

I think it's been touched on, but I think courtesy would dictate researching and listing what variant you are submitting when sending your info to Bobby. I know I tried to do that with the T206s I sent. He's doing amazing amounts of work as is, anything we can do to help ease the burden should be a given.

The T206's I have no problem with....what little variations there are, I can just break out a loupe and see on the back. As far as MODERNS, MAGIC, POKEMON, and JAPANESE?? I'm freaking clueless. I don't know the difference between a refractor or a non......or any of the 1,001 other variations.

This is why I don't collect modern. It's just too confusing.
