TOURNAMENT UPDATE: Please note that I first set up tonight's tournament on PokerStars for the wrong time (22:30 EST in error). The correct time of the tournament is 20:30 EST (7:30 Central, as always). I have set up another tournament with the correct time (20:30 EST) on the PokerStars list. Please make sure to register for the tournament with the correct time (20:30 EST; PokerStars Tournament #97305265). The Password is the same (d310d310).

Sorry for any confusion. Good luck to all players. See you at 20:30 EST (7:30 Central).

Lyman

You're in the wrong tourney

Get out of the 22:30 tourney and go to the 20:30 tourney

The results from the July tournament of the 2008 Old Cardboard Texas Hold'em Series are now posted on the Old Cardboard website at http://www.oldcardboard.com/misc/poker/poker.asp. Although the Leaderboard ranking of the top five players remains unchanges, Rob DeWolf (wolfie51sb) moved into a comfortable lead by adding 5 points to his total. Congrats to Rob.

Next month's tourney is now set up (its PokerStars #97698603; Old Cardboard #8; Password for Registration is h813h813). Mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 26 at 20:30 EST (7:30 pm Central; yes, that is the correct time). All vintage collectors are welcome to participate. See the link above for details.

Good luck to all.

Lyman

PS: Scott Brockleman was no doubt the luckiest player of the evening by catching a nine on the turn to give him a set and take me out with a pair of Jacks. Scott, I'll definitely get you back. --LJH

I'm registered.

Oh, boo hoo, Scott hit you on the river.

I had Rob by the shorts. He was all-in. I had him dominated on the turn with a flush but the river pops a fourth diamond and he has a lone J that beat my pocket 4 6.

Fun time though but we all have Rob's number and he will not repeat.

I'm working on the final draft of a letter of apology to everyone who played Tuesday night. Should be in the mail tomorrow.

Your A4 taking out my AJ was equally brutal as it took me out of the game.
