Default Show us pictures of somre of your favorite prewar baseball players as kids!

I'll kick this one off since I started it!

Here are photos of 4 year old Johnny Vander Meer and a young Carl Hubbell. Vander Meer is pictured on the right with his older brother Martin age 7. King Carl is located at the bottom row of the second photo at the extreme left.

BTW, many thanks to all the Veterans out there on net54 that served in the military.

Not quite a photo of the ballplayer, but here's George Kelly's nephew. HOF George Kelly left in his estate a massive amount of baseball material. Stuck inside McGraw's "My Thirty Years in Baseball", was this photo. The book is inscribed by Christy Walsh to George Kelly, and the back of the photo reads "James Kelly, Jessie's boy" at six months.
