Default T-205 gurus: short prints?

I am getting started on the set with a few dozen so far. Are there any short prints, other than pose or change of team variations?

Does anyone know whether the minor leaguers were limited distribution to say a particular region?

Thanks in advance,
Ed

Here's the full checklist that I believe lists all variations. I, too, just started this set and used this one to compile into my standard Excel checklist.

Default Variations

The Old Cardboard link doesn't include a few variations.

Specifically anyone wanting to complete a master set would need to have the Cycle Mathewson that shows 37-1 win/loss record.

There are others like the JD/JB Miller , Doc White color, E.Collins Elephant etc..I found it hard to find that all encompassing list all typed out.

Default Am I understanding your question?

Is your question, in other words, are there any short prints that are singles of a player [i.e., the player only appears once in the set]?

If that is your question, the answer is yes; some that come to mind are Dahlen, Scanlan, Suggs, Turner, Vaughn, Wagner, Raymond, Kleinow [I know that these are expensive cards; I'm not certain that they are designated short prints, though]. And I'm sure that there are others [these are the ones that, but for Scanlan, I don't have].

Default T-205 short prints

Thanks, some very interesting history here. It looks like a number of major league players may have been replaced by minor leaguers in print runs with certain backs, thus resulting in short prints of both.

I assume that team updates, variations, etc for a given player would result in the same total number of cards for that player and the card is updated in subsequent printings, or perhaps for certain backs. Any other theories on whether the entire print run for a player with a team update (combining both teams) would be the same as most other players without any team updates or variations?

Best,
Ed
