Default Baseball & Football Motor Oil Posters

Greetings,

I came across two interesting pieces involving 3'x5' Deep Rock Motor Oil advertising posters. The football player appears to be a lithograph silk screen with the markings of D-238. The baseball piece appears to be just silk screen with the markings of D-209. The football has some damage, but the baseball is in amazing condition. I placed a 12" red ruler on the football poster to give a perspective on the size.

If anyone could provide any information, I would be very appreciative. I would like to get an idea how old they are and a ballpark value. Thanks.

Mike

Default Nice

Nice looking posters...look about late 1930's....guess about $250.00-$350.00 range...pretty generic but cool...You see genric football posters now and then but not 5 foot tall ones
