Default Half point grade

I found a bunch of old PSA cards; does anyone know around or about what cert # they introduced the half point grade? a lot of these are really sharp and I'm thinking about sending for a review

Actually it's easy. If the Grade and the number are on the same line it is pre-half grade. if the grade is on one line with the number below it is post-half grade.

EXAMPLES

NM 7 - pre

NM
7 -post

If by sharp you mean the corners, they might not be worth sending in anyway. If you're going to resubmit for half-grade bumps, your best bet is to look for any cards that have significantly better centering than what is allowed for the grade.
