I guess my $850 bid wasn't good enough. I knew the estimate was low, but I wasn't expecting it to go for quite this much. Awesome case!!

to me based on what I know about these cases in other venues and collecting areas. The best sell from 2000. to 4000. so a baseball related one in today's HIGH market @ 7000.00 to 10,000.00 would be my expectation. It's the banner I'm interested in for the Ginter N28 set. As my memory is bad I'm was so sure I left 50,000. lying around here someplace:-)

Simply stunning. That would be a dream piece for any collector. Imagine filling it with Spalding one inch webs, a trophy, and balls in the box. Why couldn't I have been born rich instead of so damn good looking?!?! Well...not unfortunate looking.

Whoa....how the heck did I miss that auction? I usually scan all the live auctions and I missed that one....not that I have $8,000 lying around.

This is the first time I have seen an item like this, I travel and go to a lot of shows looking for all types of Spalding items. Just a real neat item
