That would be fun. I started with cubs fantasy baseball camp so why not continue with a fantasy league.

I would be in as well. I'm down either way, but would be the league be just for fun, or some sort of cash or card entry fee?

I think 12-15 is a good number of teams....anything beyond that and you usually get a lot of team owners who don't really participate by just letting the team sit there with players on the DL never changing the pitching rotation, et cetera.

I haven't posted here in a while, but I'm interested in joining the league and would be an active participant. Fantasy baseball is great fun, and a good way to keep track of the game while living abroad.

Well, it looks like we have enough people who are in.

I like Yahoo too. In the past few years, there has been some kind of organized league, but I wasn't involved.

If that league is not going to continue this year, perhaps we could start another one using the yahoo format.

Now.......who wants to be commish.?

Rob

PS: Ben, how's Korea?

Is anyone interested in doing some sort of cheap money league? Having a small fee usually guarantees activity.

Rob, Korea has been great so far. Thanks for asking. Seoul is an amazing city. I miss watching sports though (and card collecting for that matter).

Anyways, since nobody else has jumped in, I'd be happy to commish. I've done it a few times before and it's no problem. Yahoo leagues open on Feb 15. Do people prefer Head to Head leagues or Rotisserie? I think 14 teams is a good number. Any deeper than that and you've got Tony Graffanino as your starting 2B

Could everyone who wants to be a part of the league please email me with the following info:

Preferred league format: Rotisserie OR Head to Head (two votes for roti already)
League size: 14 teams max OR everyone in one league

We'll go with whatever the majority decides. When yahoo opens up the leagues, I will send everyone an invite. Draft will be sometime in early-mid march, at a time that suits all of us (hopefully). Looking forward to this!

Hi guys,

The league will be set up this weekend and I'll have the invites sent out to all those who've expressed interest. Almost everyone I've spoken to prefers the 14 team setup, so we'll go with that. As far as head to head vs. rotisserie, the voting has been split down the middle- 4 votes for each. Anyone who hasn't mentioned their preference to me can still do so in an email, and we will continue the discussion on the league messageboard once I have it set up. Nothing is set in stone by the way....I will amend anything and everything according to what the majority of the league prefers.

Looking forward to this! Live drafts are too much fun.

The rotisserie league is now full.

I've opened up a new head to head league with 12 more spots available, so if anyone was left out and would like to participate, shoot me an email and I'll send you an invite. Also, if anyone currently in the rotisserie league wants to join the head to head as well, that would be fine.
