Default George C. Miller Cards

Posted By: Joel

Hi,

Can anybody tell me if the cards in this identify what team the player is on.

For instance is Dale Alexander and Lefty Grove depicted as Boston Red Sox players?

Grove is depicted and identified as a member of the Philadelphia A's. Each card has a checklist on the back, listing all of the players in the set and their team.

since he's hoarding the $@^@*#& $^$ GCM cards and won't sell me a HOFer at a discounted price, despite my heart rending pleas (OK, one nice request)

Todd, that was a funny post. I was going to give you one when you showed up in court with me against PSA. Millers come up on ebay fairly often. A rare type II Dean just sold for $527, not bad except for the paperloss on back. Write me again and let me know what you are looking for and I will spare you one. I am a hoarder but I just sold 5 to complete a gentleman's set and that transaction actually broke my 3rd set. So I can be had.

just for the record, you CANNOT tell type I from type II by the bats R or bats right. Both my type I and type II Frisch's say bats R. You can tell by the spelling of FOX/FOXX or KLIEN/KLEIN on the back checklist. Dan.

Hi Dan. I believe that you once told me there were three cancellation types on the these cards: 1) bottom 1/3 removed, 2) diamond punch and 3) ???. I don't recall the third. Can you refresh my failing memory? Thanks. --Lyman
