Default Odd request for counterfeit tobacco

I swear I don't work for battlefield or plan on selling these. I have to teach a class in my auctioneering course and I was going to do it on the difference between counterfeits, reprints and authentic. I have some legit reprints but I don't want to have to actually reward some jerk by buying his counterfeits in order to teach a class on how not to reward some jerk by buying his counterfeits. If you are super attached to them I can return them after the class.

Print out some of your own on your home computer. That's what most eBay counterfeits are anyway.

appreciate the offer, but I am trying to stick to cards where I can show a counterfeit, a reprint, and a genuine. I don't know if there's a legit reprint on Sporting News, and I don't have any genuine ones right now.

Your best bet would be to stick with the T206 or Goudey cards as there are plenty of legit reprints and probably the area with the most counterfeits (at the same time), so you should be able to pair them up. I don't have many so I probably don't have any counterfeits (that I know of, anyway).

I recommend eBay for your reprints and counterfeits, regardless of the issue you decide to go with.

OK, I have the real cards and the legit reprints that I need, I am just looking for counterfeits. I am NOT going to buy counterfeits in order to teach people how not to buy counterfeits!

So you expect people to give away their counterfeits, that they paid good money to obtain, for free?

>sigh<

I am asking board members to LOAN me any counterfeits they may have acquired. It says right in the OP that I am happy to return them.

yup, it was plus there had already been a couple of instances of subpar reading comprehension, both ITT and via PM so I was a little over-sensitive.
